1862 Pocket Navy .36 Cal., 5 1/2 "

$486.34

One of the Colt pocket series, approximately 22,000 1862 Pocket Navy revolvers were manufactured roughly between 1863 and 1865 and were made until 1872 or so. This little 5-shot, .36 caliber revolver resembles the 1849 Pocket Colt, except that the '62 Pocket Navy has a rebated cylinder. So many of them were converted to metallic cartridge that the 1862 model is among the harder guns to find still in cap-and-ball configuration. This Colt replica is available in its original barrel lengths of 5 1/2 inches, or 6 1/2 inches. Offered in Standard Blue, Charcoal Blue, or Cimarron's Original Finish, this handsome little "five-shooter" bears the roll-engraved stagecoach holdup scene, like the genuine Colts. It also wears the authentic color case hardened frame, hammer and loading lever, along with a brass back strap, trigger guard and one-piece walnut stocks. Here's an opportunity to have a spitting image of one of the more hard to find pocket revolvers of the percussion era, and a pistol fit for any card shufflin' knight of the green cloth!
