The other poncho I have was more expensive and less accurate!
The texture of the "base" fabric is very smooth, just like the one in the movie, and the embroidered patterns show on both sides. The yarn "fringe" is the right color (white) and not absurdly long like on the other poncho I bought. Again, this is accurate to the screen-used poncho in the Dollars Trilogy.
The dimensions are pretty reasonable for a person of average height and build. I'm a fairly tall woman and this does not look totally ridiculous on me.
The only thing I don't totally love about it is the color. The olive green version is VERY green and that could maybe be toned down a bit, but maybe it will fade to a more brownish color. I don't know. (I would like to note that the screen-used poncho WAS actually green despite its brownish look, probably due to color correction and fading of the fabric, so this is a pretty minor gripe, especially for the price.)
In summary, if you want a good replica of the poncho seen in the Dollars Trilogy for your nerdy self or someone else, this is probably the one you want.
Note: Yes, I am totally wearing the poncho and listening to the soundtrack from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly while writing this review. (Posted on 6/13/2016)
